B230 intake and exhaust valves can not be resurfaced?? 200 1988

According to Bentley pg 214-9:
Exhaust valves in B21FT engines and both exhaust and intake valves in B230 engines are satellite-coated. They cannot be refaced by tooling such as by milling or grinding. These valves must be hand-lapped only, and must be replaced if worn beyond the point of being restored by hand lapping.

I would like to hear opinions to the contrary. Haven't any of you had a head reconditioned that included a valve grind?

Randy
