Engine Oil Capicity in an '86 244 200 1986

Hi All,

I have recently moved into a house (with a garage that enables me to FINALLY do my own oil changes). Prior to this, I would take my brick to the local Volvo dealer for oil changes - the manager is in love with my car (it is in mint condition with only 67,000 on the clock) and he used to give me a deal on oil changes ($15).

Anyway, this weekend I changed the oil and found that with a new Mann filter, I needed 4.25 quarts to get to the full line on the dipstick. The owners manual says it should be 4 quarts.

Has anyone else experienced this??

Thanks
Pablo
