No Start 200 1992

Your likely correct, but:
While disconnected from the relay, the ground circuit to the fuel pump relay tested "0" ohms resistance at the time the relay would not close, {ignition in run or crank position /no start}. This proceedure was tested with a standard blue point GMM, which, on high resistance settings, is not recommended for testing resistance on low resistance ECU/PCM circuits, but the circuit still tested as 'closed/ ' a few times after the first test, so I doubt I damaged it with the setting I used.
I would be more willing to spend the $ on a white label 561 or 951 ECU if I could verify this ground circuit as having no resistance with my present ECM unit installed.
Would the ECU set a malfuntion code in the event this output circuit to that ground is faulty?
Thanks for the help!
