i should know this but 200

for some reason i am drawing a blank and would appreciate some help on this.

92, automatic wagon.

when i shift out of park or for that matter into other gear choices with the large black inset shift button depressed i hear a click in one of the relays behind the dash fascia.

for some reason i do not recall hearing this relay click before. the sound of the shifter moving and the relay clicking does not seem right to me.

i have had recently difficulty shifting out of park the first thing in the morning without using the over ride switch. once this shifts out of park after sitting overnight if does NOT occur again until he next morning and then only the first time.

am i losing it?

what relay is clicking and is this normal
