Won't start--HELP!! 200 1987

My 87 244 has had starting issues before, but not like this. Has newer alternator, battery, been starting fine for the past six months. Couple of days ago, I turned the key and nothing. Turned off the key, turned it back on and it started right up. Now tonight, I turn the key and nothing again. The battery is charged. All the fuses are good. Weird thing I noticed is that the door chime is not sounding, but the dome light is lit when the door is open. Also, if I turn the headlight switch to the parking light position, the parking lights light and the cluster lights light up. If I turn the headlight switch to the full on position, the headlights don't light, the parking lights go off, as do the cluster lights. When I turn the key, there is nothing--no crank, the blower fan doesn't blow, it almost seems like a short in the ignition switch or something. It's 8 o'clock at night and I really need the car in the morning. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any quick suggestions.
