Engine cutting out problem 200 1989

PAGEDA is correct. That IS the 25 amp fuse I was talking about. The Previous Owner already replaced the Fuseholder that is normally White and hanging on that rail as shown by 86VOLVO245.

That was the one I was talking about. Make sure it's clean and look close at teh fuse holder. I used the same one ( with the black cover) and after a few years it melted a bit.

The Gas tank vent idea: I doubt it but it could be. Next time it happens. take the gas cap off, put it back on and see if you run good again.
