Repairing stripped Crank Position Sensor bolt threads 200 1993

Finally got the ole Avispon Verde 93 245 running again...usually very smooth, but once in a while, I get a cut out while idling. A complete miss of one or two cylinders. It seems to be getting worse.
I suspect one of 2 things:
1) the crank position sensor'd bolt is slightly stripped and I could not snug it down firmly. I just got it in and when the bolt reached bottom and still turned, I just left it alone. Car starts and runs fine except for ocassional misfires juring idling.
2) the used Air Mass Meter I installed to replace the OEM with 200 k miles on it.

Which one is more likely to cause this cut-out during idle?

Thanks,
el raidman
