The WHAT Gasket? 200

Went to the Volvo dealer today to get an estimate on replacing the 3 front engine seals on the 88 240. $375 to do the 3 seals, and then $200 for the "gasket behind the oil seals." I have had this thing down and replaced the front oil seals before (with the help of a mechanic friend) and I have spent many an hour poring over the Bentley manual, and I am not aware of any gaskets "behind the front engine oil seals" What the hey? They also said $475 to replace the oil separator, a repair which I did myself last summer, with the $40 Volvo OEM oil separator. Not easy to get at, had to remove the throttle body, which needed cleaning anyway, but I'm sure I put that baby on there tight, but not too tight. Anyway, I don't see any leaks around it, although the flame trap housing has a little ooze. So I think these guys are just throwing parts at me. And does anyone know what the "gasket behind the oil seals" is?
BTW: I recently switched from dino oil to synthetic.
