blower.. I HATE IT! dang it!! plz read!! thanks... 200

hello. i have a 90 240dl sedan/ i used the chainsaw method, except i didn;t have a 80-88 while installing a simmons type blower motor, bought from autozone. they SAID it should work... found fins for propelers didn;t clear iner blower caseing houseing.... i think i installed the transister wrong/// i returned the motor. duh!!! mabey it would have fit?? i didn't know. it should fit right?? so upset i don't wana buy 1 from volvo for 260... every 1 has the same one... it was on the inside instead of the outside of the blower motor. mabey it would have cleared if i had installed it on the outside. i returned it like a dope caz i didn't think it would fit ne ways/// has ne one had this problem in a 90 golvo?? first handers please answer, this is frusterateing... hard work also NO METAL TABS were found in the houseing to install where the motor sit on. only screws into flat plastic similer to what it looks like when u remove the outer motor casing to access the iner but has only 3 holes to screw in. the (grinding down is only for the 80-86? i hate to pester every one.... thanks for everything,, i was gona pay some 1 to do this but i figured i could do it.. wires everywhere!! im glad i found this site. helpful indeed!
