Steering Wheel Question 200

I recently moved to the Rio Grande Valley and like it except for the tremendous amount of humidity. My problem is that the steering wheel on my 1990 245 has developed a "squishy" spot, probably from the heat and it also happens to be the place where I always hold the wheel (between 10-11 o'clock).

I was wondering if there was some type of glue or contact agent that could be injected into the leather/vinyl to make the spot adhere back to the steering wheel under the skin. It drives just fine except it is really annoying having that "one spot" bubble up the way it does.

Any help would be appreciated as always.

P.S. If you know of any independent shops in the McAllen area (within 50 miles) that are reputable and good, please let me know.

Todd :-)
