removing headlights 200

Greetings:
I'm trying to get my headlights off. I have used a light oil and then switched to a new CRC product which includes a penetrating oil and also a freezing component. The studs (so far) may be spinning? because I am ratcheting the 10 mm nuts and the ratchet is moving but I don't see them (the 10 nut) coming loose. The plastic lens, BTW, was already loose and will pop off easily. Any likelyhood that the studs are just spinning and if so how to counteract that? This is to install DJ automotive lights (Euro codes). Thanks.

BMW John in Indy/Avon.
