----->1990 volvo 240dl simmons motor install (do i need to modify the houseing for it to fit?? this is strange)) the place i bought it from says if will work for my car but they never said anything about modifying... read on plz!----> 200

stupid simmons motor,,,, lol mabey i will just mount aq fan over the heater core lmao!! i am haveing a rather difficalt time installing... i am told it fits by autozone napa murrays and so on, every one has the same one, no oems like i wanted,,, but instructions do not say any modifying is required for a 1990 dl. only stated on a 82-86. i thought this would be a easy project... guess not,,, i know the motor works, however fan impelers won't clear the houseing... aarraahhh... tryed everything, wigeling moveing the thing and so on. even tightened it down!! i know i have posted a billion times.. lol i think the impelers all toughed the houseing (i tightened that down too) not just @ the top or botom so i cant see the transistor @ fault... the motor is centered as it should be. the other side was toufer yet... its as if the shafts are too short for both sides??? i don't know! im just a 21 yr old trying to get his car back together and my dad says its my project lol thanks for all your help!
