rear axle spline count 120-130 1964

I don't remember exactly... but you are correct in that it differs year to year... in wagons. Your '64 (it is a '64, correct?) should have a salisbury rear.. not compatible with anything but a pre-mid'66 or so wagon only.

As I recall, I think you have 18 spline axles. All other 122s had a Dana/spicer 27 or Dana 30, both of those are 10 spline. Not early wagons. The outer bearings are different as well...

That said... could be that your rear has been swapped at a time over the years... so always best to double check...

I'll see if I don't have some axles to see for sure in a few hours...
