What else is funky besides clock and dash lights?

The clock gnd is common with the Voltmeter, directional bulbs,Tach, Temp Gauge,
Rheostat, speedometer, Fuel gauge, Pin 6 & 11 of the 12 pin connector
The Plus lead to the clock is unique from Pin 5 (7 pin connector)
If you lose dash lights check the Rheostat and Pin 2 of the 8 pin connector for
+12V

I ordered my book from the local Volvo dealer, but you can order direct from a Volvo USA website. It's a Volvo Service Manual Section 3(39) Wiring Diagram,
740 1989 TP 31383/1 .
