My front fog lights are not wired right 700 1989

Hi all

I have just reinstalled the previously broken fog light assemblies of my recently acquired beater 740 turbo - the broken mounts repaired with epoxy - and I think these lights are not quite working right ;-)

Here's the story: The front fog light switch (and hence the connected fog lights) works only when the light switch is set to parking lights ON. When I then switch on the headlamps, the parking lights extinguish like they should but so do the the front foglights - the light on the foglight switch goes off.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the front lights, or better yet, know of a simple rewiring fix for this?

Thanks!

Lucast
