Oil in intake on 240, non-turbo 200 1987

Drain the oil into a _clean_ pan and save. Put 3 qts back in. Run the 240, turn it off and let it sit for 5 minutes and check the level on the dipstick. Top off the oil. If your crankcase was overfilled you'll have ~1 qt left over. Save the extra oil in an old oil bottle and label.

The concern with oil overfilling is that the crank may beat the oil into a froth and your oil pump is designed to pump liquid oil, not oil froth.
