Check engine light, code 1-4-3 comes back every other week 900 1993

This check engine light started bugging me and the computer told me it was error code 1-4-3 (knock sensor faulty), I bought a new one and replaced it but the same error comes back every other week after clearing the computer memory so it should not be the same sensor again.

I have tried with different gasoline octane (87-89-93)and it seems to disappear when using 93 octanes although I am not so sure, besides, the car runs smoother, quiter with 87 octanes....and it's cheaper too.

Is this error code related to something else?? I also replaced the ECT sensor just in case, with 210 Kmiles in its ribs it was good anyways.

B230F, non turbo wagon....runs great in general.
