I'm a bit of a hypocrite, I suppose. The "VOLVO" fell off of my 245 and was in the trunk when I bought the car. I tried reattaching, but it started working its way off. So I got me an old-school pre-1980 badge with the black bar behind it which provided a little extra surface area. Strip of 3M badge tape works AOK.

I was fully contemplating pulling off the "240_DL" badge (as it looked like it was ready to come off anyway) to replace with a matching NOS pre-1980 "245DL" badge, but the current 1990 badge is indeed on there pretty good.... unfortunately. :-)

Would have been fun just to screw around with the parts guys: "I don't have a 1990 245 in my computer..."
