removing V-belts, can't loosen A/C pump 200 1991

Hi fellow bricksurgeons,

I'm just jumped into my first real engine job: changing the camshaft, adjusting valves, and replacing timing belt. I've changed the oil, coolant, brake fluid and pads, but never the belts. The fan, with clutch and shroud, came off no sweat.

So I was able to loosen the steering pump and alternator enough to remove their belts, but I can't loosen the A/C pump at all even though I've totally loosened the adjusting bolt and its retaining nut! The A/C pump-to-crank belt is tight as ever. I found a single fastener about three inches to the rear of the obvious adjusting bolt, in a pretty tight and awkward location. Is that what I have to loosen, or am I missing something?

So once I get the V-belts off, then I remove the timing belt cover, loosen the crank pulley and belt tensioner. Then I pull off the timing belt. Then I pull the spark plug cables and flame trap hose aside, remove the valve cover, then go to work on the cylinder head. Right?
