I really appreciate the responses to my request. This site (Brickboard) has helped me very,very much in my quest for parts and information, and I do thank all those who have responded. I have completed one 544 and am now working on #2, so I will be looking every day. I do have some "spare" parts available like transmissions and other heavy stuff that I'll let go for packaging and shipping cost.
