questions about seat height...and radio 700

hi guys, today we went to look at a few volvos, really only got to look at one though...first was a 740, which is what im really looking for, and the other was a 940, really didnt look at the 740 because the dealer flat out said the car ran like ''shit'' and he didn't want another person bitching at him because he had a wife.....then we looked at a 940, looked pretty decent on the outside expect for a broken antenna, is that a pretty cheap/easy fix? then we got to the inside...i couldn't really sit in it because im about 6'2 and we couldnt figure out how to lower the seat anymore...curious if any other taller guys have that issue in the 940? or if i was just pressing the wrong button...next came the radio, he said it was stolen, no doubt... it looked like a few wires were snipped...would that mean the wiring harness would need to be replace or is there an easier solution? the car had 230k on it and started pretty easily, however he was asking 1700....

would it be at all possible to find a 740 in good mechnical condtion for less than $2k? miles aren't a huge issue as long as the car has been taken care of and checks out okay in the professional inspection...

thanks

dave
