Stall once upon cold start, restart idles fine 200

I've seen this topic in the past where people experience the following: 240 stalls on the first cold start and then on the second start runs fine.

Well, my 88 240 wagon has been doing this lately, no biggie but kind of annoying. Interestingly, I have ordered a bunch of front end parts to install this coming week, and in the lot I also ordered a new Bosch distributor cap and rotor for the heck of it. I put those on today and so far, zero stall issue upon cold start.

Maybe coincidence, but interesting that the stall problem has disappeared out of the blue. I didn't even think of this when I replaced the cap and rotor, was just doing that since I didn't know the last time they'd been changed and the parts were cheap. Anyway, we'll see if the stall stays gone. Thought I'd share this little tidbit with the group in case anyone else was running into this...FWIW
