If Not Fuel Pump Then What Is It ??? 200 1986

Hello. 1986 Sedan. 207K miles. Very Frustrating. On Saturday car died while going 70mph on turnpike. Would not re-start. Turned over but no start. Was sure it was main fuel pump(not in tank one - I replaced that one about a month ago) as had been buzzy sounding for couple of weeks. Tested to see if getting fuel at fuel line end by engine. No fuel came out. So I replaced the main pump & also fuel filter too yesterday. New pump/filter work as I tested them before installing. However the car still cranks over but still doesn't start and as before no fuel is getting to engine. I am at wits end here. What to do ? What to check/do next ? Thanks.
