Fuel Pump 140-160

I picked up an SEV fuel pump that was listed for a 71 B20. I have a 68 144 with B18. Was going to swap the SEV pump in for my existing pump. Existing pump is questionable. Pressure is 1.5 and flow seems a bit off. No marking on existing pump so I don't know what kind it is. The foot on the SEV is too wide for the fuel pump spacer. Do all fuel pumps require the spacer or is this SEV not for my application? I put the old pump back on for now.

On the existing pump. While it was off I took it apart and cleaned it. Diaphragm seems sound. When I move the foot there is 1/4 inch play or more before it makes contact. The SEV foot has no play at all.
