Fuel Pump 140-160

I put them side by side last night and it looks like the spacer might not be needed but wanted to check here as well. The foot on the SEV fits inside the block but not through my current spacer. The listing on the SEV that I got says off 1971 245 wagon. It also had this as part of the heading. Volvo b20 145 144 140 Fuel Pump.

If the play on my current pump is not expected it could explain the lack of volume and lower pressure that I'm seeing.
