i had similar problem it was my battery wire, it was old and also my altanatior, the altanatior was new, but with the wire being bad it burned out my altanatior, or so i was told. so check connections. you can hear the fuel pump that sends first gas flow "cold start" a little buzzz when you first turn key to start it.
