122s weather stripping (windows, esp.)

As you may have learned already, when rebuilding a 40+ year old car the expense just keeps adding up. I was particularly surprised at the prices for rubber pieces on these cars. Every piece of rubber will need to be replaced; not just your window and door seals. There is a seal around the trunk. Brake hoses, grommets, buttons, keepers, driveshaft donut, hangers, bushings, gaskets, pedal pads, and probably a bunch I haven't thought of in awhile.

Swedish Treasures, IPD, Vintage Import Parts, Revolve, and Swedish Classics come to mind. Be sure to check out the SWEM website. Ron Kwas sells solutions to common problems (and has a really good set of articles to read). Several other vendors who do not have as a high a profile. Several of them advertise in Driver, the Volvo Club of America magazine.

As best I can tell, Veteran Produktor and Genuine Classic Parts make or have made almost every piece available for these cars. The quality is good, usually original specification or better, but the prices are a bit steep. Want to replace the rubber floor mats? A complete set, front, rear, and trunk will run you about $650 plus shipping. I've got about $40 worth of carpet in mine.
