S40 seats in a 740? Possible or just daydreaming? 700

Well, the question is pretty straight forward:

Do any of you know about or maybe tried to put S40 front seats (2001-2004 generation) in a 740?

I'm currently driving my 1991 745T wintercar and I must say I hate the front seats. After driving all summer long in my 1998 C70 and 780 Bertone, its quite a downgrade so to speak. Since I am doing 400 km drives per week, swapping for new seats might be an idea. I also intend to keep the 745T for another 2-3 winters.

I'm asking because I just spotted a local guy who wants to sell his S40 seats. I know 900 seats would probably fit and be my best bet (I've tried one of my friends 940 and the seats remind me much of the 780), but I dont have those handy and cheap.

Advices, suggestions, comments most welcomed! Thanks!
