Another good reason to buy/drive a 240...gas mileage 200 1987

I've been posting a few things from my recent escapades with my new 87 245. I have her to stage zero (or close) and have been driving a 36 mile commute every day since the middle of September-- 72 miles per day plus other running around.

Now let me say that I drive 55 or slower on the two lanes roads I travel, I shift when the little light tells me to shift (5 speed), and I haven't been running the AC. I am OCD about tire pressure.

I figured up my mileage last night. I did it three times and made my wife figure it too. We got the same answer every time.

32.69 Miles per gallon. This was not something I expected even in my wildest imagination.
