can anyone recommend a So. Texas mechanic? 200 1993

Hi All - I'm stuck here in McAllen, TX with what (I think) is a bad ignition amplifier. The car died while driving - kind of sputtered out as if running out of gas.

I suspected the fuel pump relay, but after jumping the pump this afternoon I still could not get it started. (I can also hear the pumps come on for a second when I turn to position II.) I replaced the ignition amplifier a month or so ago with a used one and now I suspect it may have failed. The crank position sensor was replaced recently as well.

I have very limited tools and means of testing at the moment.

Can anyone recommend an independent shop in the McAllen area before I go to the dealer in the morning?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Craig
