fuel injection 140-160 1974

Howdy cb350f3,

Be very careful about energizing the FI system with a fuel line deliberately disconnected. The Bosch K-jet runs 70 PSI of system pressure. As soon as you turn the key to START, the system is pressurized. Spectacular things can occur.

The rough idle may be (probably is) a vacuum leak somewhere.

It sounds like you are just beginning to learn about the K-jet, right? If so, you really need this link: http://www.k-jet.org/.

I also recommend buying Charles Probst's Bosch Fuel Injection & Engine Management. If you like reading technical stuff, Mr. Probst presents even difficult concepts in an easy to understand manner.

Post back and let us know what you find on the rough idle problem.

BTW, I've got CB350F3 in the garage; another project waiting for me to get a round tuit.
