Sound from front right wheel

Hi
My 1990 240 DL SW has been generating strange noises when turning to right for couple of months . The sound is tik tik tik ...as if cogs of a ratchet are engaging . The sound is minimal if I the car is in motion.

If I put some weight i.e. lean on right fender it generated the same sound although not up to the extent when turning right . Steering as such is fine i.e. no extra effort is needed when Turing it .

It seems like a bushing to me and it might be the one which get stressed when turning . I have visually checked the right front strut assembly and control arm bushings, they look fine . The struts were changed 1-1/2 years ago.

The sound seems to come from below the engine area.
What can be the most likely cause or most likely bushing .
Regards
Gopesh
