88 240 no start -- any suggestions? 200

Was an intermittant no start, then a tow truck no start. 25 amp blade fuse is ok,
soldered pump relay, jumpered 4 and 6 fuses, pulled hose from fuel rail and cranked and got no fuel. Replaced main pump and filter (ouch!) Now have gas at fuel rail, but still no start. Put a timing light on plug wires and appear to have spark. Searched FAQ and archives, but 88 is an in-between year and most of the sensors likely to fail don't exist on this car. Any suggestions?
