Optimal milage and timing 120-130

Thats good to know. My 1967 122s (with the *really* worn carbs) has an allison/crane ignition unit which works flawlessly. That car also sports the Bosch Coil from a 1971 1800E and has Magnecore wires.

I suspect that these features helped compensate for such poor condition carbs...

I want to avoid parting out the wagon, as it is only down for new rubber and painting, so I do not want to snatch parts from it, or I'm sure I'll end up with half a car by the time I am done.
