Quick Question 1800

From your previous post... I'm gathering that you already figured out how to get the starter to kick over...

Past that, yes... just get any 12v coil and hook it up. Positive to battery, negative to the points connection on side of distributor.

You can easily go so far as to hide a toggle switch inside to turn the temporary ignition on, and a hidden push button for the starter... and forget about the key until later when you (A) get title for the car, and (B) have a better feel for what needs to be done. Not much point in spending too much money until you have clear title in hand.

Man I wish I could be there when she fires for the first time in 30+ years. My favorite kind of car project is a resurrection.
