Heater Adjustment or as I call it 'Flame on, Flame off' 200 1986

So it was chill in the air going out the door this morning, now that means in was in the low 50's. Oh yeah details, this is for Inga my faithful 21 year old 245DL Piston slappin kitten with the big plastic headlights, 219K+.

It may be time to work on the heater control. Inga being a good Swede can heat things up like very few can. Now if I lived someplace where the all time record low was below 14 Degrees F maybe I would need all that heat. But since we have had one dusting of snow here in 25 years and not had a hard freeze in five years, not so much.

For all that heat, all you have to do is barely push the slide to the right.
Problem is that you get lots of heat maybe all the heat. There does not seem to be a lot of adjustment, hince Flame on, Flame off. So what would one do to adust the heater so that say you had even a little more adjustment on the slide? And yes I know I am in for what a call a Dash dive to do this.

Trying to keep it Just Right.
