What transmission fluid are you using? 444-544

I'm using Redline MT90 in the race car. I had synchro wear problems with lesser (spelled cheaper) oils, both conventional and synthetic blends. Admittedly, the synchro's on the 142E probably take more abuse in an afternoon than most street machines would in years of normal driving.

WRT ordering online, if all you're buying is a quart, I would think it would be no more money to just pick it up locally. The cheapest I've seen the stuff online is over $8 a quart, then you have to add s/h. I can get it locally for $9.95 plus sales tax. Check the racing-oriented retailers in your area.
