OBD II Code P0301 on 960 S90-V90 1996

My 96 960 wagon posts a P0301 code (#1 hole misfiring). After a cold start when I open the throttle to drive away the engine runs ragged and the check engine light comes on. As the engine warms it smoothes out and runs normal. If I let the engine warm at idle after starting, it will drive away normally and not code. I'm thinking the only thing that might heal itself while warming up is the intake manifold gasket. Can anyone think of another senario that might be temperature sentive and cause an isolated miss? Thanks for any ideas. Brenson
