Identify a part- 1993 945 w/Regina 900 1993

The hose coming from the air cleaner box, across the front of the engine and connecting to an intake just aft of the exhaust headers. What is it?

It has a silver heatshield and is clipped to the frame at various places. It has come loose from the intake at the back of the engine bay and the car seems to be running a bit warmer when idling or at low speeds. It is not the air intake leading to the throttle body.

I couldn't try to reconnect it yet, since it was too hot from being next to the exhaust headers, but I will see if it will slip back on. Anything else I should use to attach it? Hose clamp?

My Haynes only shows the turbo version of the engine, so I'm having trouble identifying what this part is and what it does. Thanks.
