There are huge advantages to upgrading the rolling systems of 122's. In my opinion, they benifit from improved suspension, more power, and improved brakes. You can do it one part at a time and live with it comfortably during the process. They will never be as civilized as a modern car, but if you wanted that you'd by a Civic. Have fun - lots of us on this forum have performed a few modifications on our 122's.
