Hole in fender for Euro-type side marker lights? S90-V90 1997

Just found on eBay a set of the side marker lights that apparently are made for Euro market cars.

The seller says that on my 1997 965 there's a hole for that light, covered by the Volvo name plate just ahead of the front doors. I know that's the case on 240s, but...

Problem - what if I peel off the nameplate and there is no hole? I am not willing to cut a hole in my Volvo, period. I would have to re-glue the nameplate.

So I am asking you, do you know whether there really is a hole there?

My 965 is black, and I want the addtional visibility the side lights give, especially when they blink with the turn signals. Car is the wifemobile, and her homeward evening commute will soon be after dark.

Thanks, your answer will be appreciated.

Bob
