High Pitch Whine While Driving 900

I've noticed while driving my 91 940se with 175k a high pitch whine has developed. It occurs when I'm not on the accelerator and only while the car is in drive. When I pressure the accelerator, it goes away. I have also noticed that my car while idle weird sometimes. Sometimes it will idle under 1000rpm in park, then others after driving it will idle almost close to 2000rpm after driving and back in park.
