SU fuel line-Jet connection... 120-130 1967

All,

I went to start up my '67 wagon with recently installed SU's this morning. She started, but ran rough and smelled strongly of gasoline. I popped the hood and saw that she was dumping gas from under the rear carb. After shutting her off and looking more closely, I determined that the jet side of the fuel line from the float chamber to the jet has come apart. I can see the plastic fuel line and the metal protective tube around it just hanging down there. A quick perusal of the the factory service manual didn't show how that is supposed to be connected and, as time was running short, I fired up the old truck and headed to work. Does anyone know whether I can easily and reliably fix the connection or should I start ordering parts?

Thanks,

Noah
