Front end rattles - common/most likely culprit ? 900 1995

Hi,

My '95 940T has very recently developed a nasty rattle in the passenger side front end. The car has 170,000 miles (273,000 km) on it.

It makes a fairly loud knocking sound every time I hit a bump. I haven't had a chance to get the car up on jackstands so I don't know what the source of the noise is but I was wondering if there were any front suspension bushings that tend to wear out first on those cars. I know it's not going to be the sway bar bushings as I installed an IPD sway bar set on the car not too long ago. It's not a dead shock either as the car has fairly new Blistein HDs on it.

Thanks,

Roger
