How to move from 5-screw to 3 screw blower motor? 700 1986

I just got back my old 1986 744 GLE from my mother-in-law and it has several issues, one of which needs to be fixed immediately: the blower motor, which squealed horribly for years, now has quit for good. I am attempting to remove it and the farthest back screw is nearly impossible to reach, but I can't imagine what re-installation will be like with the replacement model (I ordered a Siemens model from FCP Groton).

I understand there is an upgrade for this which changes the blower motor from the 5-screw to the 3 screw model. Does anyone know how to obtain that adapter kit? I replaced the blower motor in my '91 745 a few years ago and it was very easy compared to this one!

I am also bidding on item number 140175402747 on Ebay motors (an oem blower motor kit) but I am not certain it is the one I need.

Thanks for the help.
