update & brake questions 444-544

Hello All. Before the questions I have an update. I now have my 544 running. It still needs some SU adjusting but it runs great. I enjoyed driving it for the first time. My 240 now feels heavy and slow. However it doesn't stop so great. The PV had been dormant for 13 years before I bought it so my next project is a complete brake rebuild. Are the stainless lines from ipd that replace the hoses worth the extra money? Should replace all the brake lines or give them a visual inspection first (it is a rust free CA car)? Do I have any choices in brake shoes? When I bought pads and rotors for my 240 I had several choices but I don't see that anywhere for the PVs. Keep in mind I live on a mountain 2000 feet above the town below. Thanks!
