Numb,

If by some slim chance your car has a manual transmission, it will probably have the standard rubber mounts rather than the hydraulic ones. That doesn't mean they aren't worn out, just the same.

It the fan blades are setting pretty close to the lower part of the shroud, the mounts likely need replacing.
