Tranny Problem - and Im not talking about one in heels! 900

Hi yall

Ive got a 1997 960 wagon, its been great. Also got a 240 and its even better.

but anyway, Ive got my first problem with the 960. Periodically the transmission will act like its slipping. It will just be revving at 3-4000 rpm by acting like its in first gear. This will go on for like 5-7 minutes. This seems to happen when in overdrive.

I'll throw it into third gear and get up to around 50-60 at around 3000 rpm, then throw it into overdrive at that speed and overdrive will then take effect and kick the rpms down to 2000 or so. It seems to me that this happens once it sits awhile and I crank it cold, once it warms up, things seem to be ok, or at least better. I just had a transmission flush done, and it seemed to make no change.

what could this be? Could it be a pump bad somewhere?
