Making some progress with the 444, some of the bodywork done and I have finally been able to machine the label for the Air/Heater control.
I am now about to pull the eng/trans and install a B16 4sp. package I found locally.
Is the drive shaft legth different between the 3/4spd of these cars? And if so would a later(B18 type) 544 4sp. shaft be the same as the earlier (B16 type)?
