It is an unfortunate situation that you have on the 84 and earlier cars when it comes to mass air flow sensor replacements. Python and Programa are both garbage with Python probably edging out Programa for biggest piece of crap going. But what the heck are you supposed to do? I have not seen a genuine Bosch one in years, they simply do not support it anymore. When I get a car in the shop that needs one I usually cross my fingers and slam in a Programma.
